The Report
Car 804 had a mechanical drivetrain malfunction early on at mile 5 which cost
a precious 15 minutes to repair. This put 804 in physical last place. Thankfully it was a quick fix and the car was then full up and ready to chase down the competition. I ran the car for all it had and slowly started picking back positions. I completed two full laps (4 loops) but was given the checkered flag due to time cutoff with the EMC race starting soon. With such a bad early setback I finished strong by making 8 positions forward to finish in the middle of the pack. If given the chance for lap three we could’ve taken back at least a few more spots. It finished strong and the confidence boost is what we need to take 804 to King of the Hammers 2021! Look out for a bigger and stronger car next year.
Thank you to all of our sponsors- you guys are legendary. Better cars coming soon.
